New Self-Clinching Plunger Assembly 

Captive now produces spring-loaded plunger assemblies (CPN Series), which are used as positioning pins and locking stops on drawer slides and equipment consoles. A retractable version (CPR Series) allows smooth slide operation. The hold open feature is actuated by pulling out the plunger head and rotating it. They are direct substitutes for the PEM* PSL2 & PTL2 Types.

The plungers are made of carbon steel with a bright nickel finish, and are designed to be pressed into the outer frame for permanent attachment.

A knurled head aids in gripping the plunger to operate the mechanism.

The plunger pin snaps into a mating hole in the inner frame, when aligned.

The pin diameter is .250 in. (6.35 mm).
